Magazines. Yachting Monthly reviewed the Rustler 31 in December 1965. Practical Boat Owner reviewed the Maltings Boats Rustler 31 in March 1982, in an article entitled "Stella's Big Sister" (Colin Jarman). Anne Hammick and "Wrestler of Leigh" featured in an article in Yachting World in December 1990. Reprints of the last two are available from http://www.ybw-directory.com/reprints/search.jsp. You may be able to get the earlier YM 1965 reprint if you contact them. Books Anne is of course a well known writer on long-distance cruising, and her book "Ocean Cruising on a Budget" must be on the bookshelves of most Rustler owners [Adlard Coles ISBN 0-229-11863-1]. There are also mentions and photos of Rustlers in "The Atlantic Crossing Guide" [Adlard Coles ISBN 0-7136-3599-1]. Web Sites [ALL web sites and software are accessed and used at your own risk!] So far I haven't found many directly related to Rustler 31s. I've already mentioned John Crix' Callisto, but he asked me to "please add a note that the site is a year or so out of date and not currently being maintained". Other Web sites I like... The later Rustlers 36 and 42 are built by Rustler Yachts in Cornwall. Their web site is http://www.rustleryachts.com/index.html. A site I use a lot for weather and forums is http://www.ybw.com/index.html. You can get synoptic charts on their weather pages. Astro-Navigation I try to do the occasional sun sight to keep in practice. Rather than spend £15+ per year buying the Almanac, I did some hunting on the web. Andres Ruiz has provided some free software that does it all. Try the Almanaque which you can find on the Software page - http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Runway/3568/index.html. Here is another web page by Henning Umland that can calculate Sun/Moon/Aries ephemerides (on the web page itself) - http://home.t-online.de/home/h.umland/almanac.htm.
GPS If you like connecting GPS to a computer, here is a good site for software - http://www.sping.com/seaclear/.
